Jung Suwon class – out there, in the wild

Today, you are in for a special treat!  The Jung Suwon-imal blog team (consisting of myself and my camera) went out and observed a Jung Suwon class, out there, in the wild!

Great Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim, a very tall 4’11 herself, always emphasizes – and proves – that size does not matter when it comes to Jung Suwon training.  She is right, of course.

Here are some never before shown pictures of this super secret Jung Suwon class.

In the above picture, you can see Timmy, Tina, Troy, Theodore, and Tammy, lining up for class.  Can you see how eager they are?

Here is little Thaddeus, with a front kick:

Let’s give him a big hand for such a beautiful kick!  Telly, no grooming during class!  Attention!

And here, an instructor (= turkey mommy) is showing Thaddeus how to improve that awesome front kick some more:

and here we see how a proper ready stance is taught:

And what would a Jung Suwon class be without sparring….here you can see Timmy all ready in attack position:

And of course even little turkeys need to practice forms, so that is what they do here:

And after attention bowing and cheering, they walk off the outdoor Jung Suwon Dojang floor, in a very controlled and disciplined manner.

Notice that there is an instructor mommy in the front, and one in the back, and all the little turkey warriors in the middle!  Great Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim always looks out for her acorn warriors, and is happy to see that they are marching in line.

Look closely and you will be able to see it.  Jung Suwon-imal instructor mommies are very protective of their young, and always march, with Tessa in the front, and Theresa in the back, to make sure all the little acorn warriors are protected.

HE CAN DO, SHE CAN DO, WHY NOT ME!
